Synthetic Fibre — Micro & Macro

Synthetic fibres are extensively used in modern concrete pavements to enhance structural performance, durability, and service life. These materials are approved by statutory and technical authorities including BIS, CPWD, PWD, Railways, Metro, AAI, CRRI, IRC and NHAI.

Across India, fibre technology has been successfully adopted in multiple State Government and NHAI projects. As per circulars issued by MoRTH, NHAI and DMRC, fibre-reinforced infrastructure is gaining wider acceptance in rigid pavement construction.

Steel fibres have been tested by Prof. Nemkumar Banthia (Department of Civil Engineering, Vancouver, Canada). Research findings indicate:

  • Effective replacement of Welded Wire Mesh (WWM) in slabs-on-grade
  • Enhanced maximum load-carrying capacity
  • Improved toughness and ductility compared to WWM-reinforced slabs
  • Significant improvement in post-cracking strength
  • Compressive strength improvement up to 16.6%

ARS testing further confirmed that Steel Fiber additions significantly improve post-crack performance compared to conventional concrete.

Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete (SFRC)

We are engaged in the sales and marketing of high-quality Steel Fibers as per ASTM A-820M Standards. These steel fibres are engineered to enhance the structural performance and durability of concrete in demanding applications.

Cellulose Fiber Pellets – CF 36P (India)

CF 36P Cellulose Fiber Pellets are specially engineered stabilizing additives designed for use in Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA) and flexible pavement applications.

Application in Flexible Pavements (SMA Technology)

Cellulose Fiber Pellets are primarily used in:

  • Urban Roads with Heavy Axle Loads

In SMA mixes, cellulose fibers act as a stabilizing additive that holds bitumen within the aggregate structure, ensuring uniform distribution and long-term performance.

As per IRC SP-79 guidelines, cellulose fiber pellets are recommended at approximately 0.3% of the total asphalt mixture as stabilizing additives in SMA mixes.
